Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. Please review carefully our refund and return policy for your purchase.

Please note this return and refund policy only applies to products purchased on maharya.com website, not to in-store purchases, whole sales orders or custom orders.

PRODUCT ISSUES

I. Order Mistake

You received the wrong product or quantity. Notify us via email, and we will make it right.

II. Defective Order

We take pride in our artisan-made goods and ensure the highest quality inspections. Yet it could happen that the order has a defect.

III. Damaged Product

The product arrives damaged.

IV. You Changed Your Mind

You have second thoughts about the order.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

Timeframe

We require that you inform us within 72 hours of receiving the goods of the above scenarios.

Platform

To report an issue, please log in to your account and click the button next to the order to report an issue and fill out the request form. Make sure your form was submitted before exiting. We will treat your request within 2-3 business days.

Photographs

For any return or refund request, we require that you submit photographs of the product.

Please note that we can only handle claims made in the required timeframe and via our platform, maharya.com that include photo attachments.

RESTOCKING FEE

If the product is defective, damaged or if a mistake was made in your order, there will be no restocking fee.

If you are returning the product because you changed your mind, a Re-Stocking Fee of USD 25 will be deducted for products up to USD 175 and USD 35 for products above USD 175. Please convert to your currency to calculate the fee.

RETURN ACCEPTANCE OR REFUSAL

Please note that we require you to follow our return process detailed above and reserve the right to decline a refund under the following circumstances:

- You fail to submit a request within 72 hours of receiving the product
- You do not supply photos with your return request
- You do not ship out the product within 72 hours of us approving your return request
- You do not provide proof of shipment with tracking info
- The product arrived damaged and this damage was not reported in the return request
- The product appears used and is not resellable (if the return is based on you changing your mind)

RETURN SHIPPING FEES AND TIMEFRAME

You are responsible for shipping out the product you wish to return within 72 hours of receiving our approval your return request. Failure to do so will result in our inability to process your return. We also require tracking information that must be shared with customer support via Maharya.com. You are responsible for shipping costs unless the product is a mistake, defective, or damaged, in which case we will send you a shipping label and cover the costs. We will supply the return address.

REFUND OR EXCHANGE STEPS AND CONDITIONS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. If your product return is approved, then your refund or exchange will be processed. For refunds, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method, within a certain amount of days subject to the banking formalities.

If you don’t recieve a refund within 7 business days (excluding holidays) of our email, please contact our Customer Support to open an inquiry.

Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method, within a certain amount of days subject to the banking formalities and payment gateway used.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please ensure it has been 5-7 business days since you were notified the refund has been processed. If it has been more than 7 business days and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@maharya.com

Sale/ Discounted items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, items on sale/ discount cannot be refunded or exchanged.
