Tax, Shipping, and Cancellation Policies

‍I. Shipping Timeframes

We usually ship all retail orders placed on maharya.com during business days within 48 hours after receiving the order, except on holidays.

Note: For bulk or custom orders, the shipping schedule will be mentioned in the invoice.

II. Shipping Locations and Restrictions

We ship to most locations worldwide wherever our shipping partners have a presence. At the time of checkout, we will inform you if we deliver to your country or not.

Due to international regulations, carrier limitations, or trade restrictions, we are unable to ship to the following countries:

Afghanistan
Belarus
Cuba
Iran
North Korea
Russia
Syria
Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions)
Venezuela
Any other country subject to U.S., U.K., or EU trade sanctions

(This list may change without notice. If your country becomes restricted after you place an order, we will refund your purchase in full.)

III. Shipping Charges

For retail orders on Maharya.com, the shipping charges will be given during the checkout process.
For custom or bulk orders, our team will include the charges in the quote.

IV. Government Import Duties and Custom Taxes

For retail orders made on Maharya.com, any government duties and taxes are payable by the customer upon shipment arrival. Suggested site: SimplyDuty.

Please calculate before ordering to make sure you are aware of all taxes and duties you may be liable for.

For custom and bulk orders, this will be discussed prior to order.

We shall notify you with your Order Tracking Number once shipped through our shipping partners.

Customer Responsibility at Checkout:

Provide correct shipping address including Zip Code (No P.O. Boxes).
Provide correct contact number for our shipping partners.
Provide correct Email address for further communication.

V. Taxes and Duties

Sales Tax (U.S. Orders)

We collect sales tax on orders shipped to U.S. states where required by law. The exact rate will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

VAT / GST (International Orders)

Orders shipped outside the U.S. may be subject to VAT, GST, or other local taxes. These may either:

Be collected at checkout and remitted on your behalf, or
Be charged to you directly by your local customs authority upon delivery.

Customs Duties & Import Fees

International shipments may incur customs duties, import fees, or brokerage charges. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs unless clearly stated at checkout. The buyer is responsible for any additional charges required by customs in the destination country.

VI. Order Cancellations

a) First 24 Hours

To cancel your order, email contact@maharya.com within 24 hours of placing your order.

b) After 24 Hours

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders after 24 hours.

c) Customized Orders

Any special/customized orders cannot be canceled once placed.

We do not entertain cancellations once the orders have been dispatched.

VII. Delivery Responsibility

Once an order leaves our warehouse, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs, strikes, or natural events.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Orders returned due to incorrect addresses may be reshipped at the customer’s expense.

VIII. Order Information

At checkout, the customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information:

Correct shipping address including Zip Code (no P.O. Boxes)
Correct contact phone number
Correct email address

Providing incorrect order information may result in delays and extra fees if a package is returned.

IX. Tax-Exempt Orders

If you are purchasing on behalf of a tax-exempt organization or for resale, please contact us at contact@maharya.com before placing your order. Valid documentation will be required.

X. Changes to Tax Policy

Tax laws and regulations may change. We reserve the right to update this Tax Policy to remain compliant. Any updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
