We source only from reputable Indian tanneries that follow strict environmental and ethical protocols. These are Leather Working Group–aligned facilities, some even pursuing full LWG certification, that use traceable hides from the food industry—nothing is ever farmed for fashion.

Our primary materials include vegetable-tanned cow and buffalo leather from Southern India, known for its durability and deep character. We also work with goat and sheep leather from Eastern India, prized for its softness and elegance.

Every tannery we work with has one thing in common: a commitment to cleaner chemistry, responsible water usage, and fair labor practices.
